Who can apply?
The application is open to anyone from the Screen Industry such as grips, camera technicians and camera operators. The selection process will focus on finding talent who have the right aptitude, personality, work ethic, intelligence and industry experience.
What will happen after the course?
The group will have access to the Remote Head Tech chat group, which will provide a forum to for technical and job discussion. Career paths will be discussed as part of the course with a view to work opportunities and as a stepping stone pathway for further development. Shadowing opportunities will also be developed and offered wherever and whenever possible.
When and where will the course be held?
It is a three day day course in total that will be held in Auckland between Tuesday 1st and Thursday 3rd September 2020.
What is the course content?
Using practical hands on experience the course will cover working on a variety of remote heads including Spacecam, Ronin, Movi, Scorpio, S Head and smaller heads.

Is there a cost to the course?
There is a subsidised fee of $225 +gst ($75 + gst per day) for course participants.
Who are the trainers on the course?
Rajiv Raj, Ari Harris and Tony Keddy (Key Grip) are the leaders of the course. See Course Contributors
