Course Information

HELD VIA ZOOM - JULY 2020

With a focus on excellence, we will train a small group of Production Accountants, who will complete the training with in-depth knowledge on accounting procedures and how to manage Production Accounts effectively and efficiently. The course will include:

Cashflow and Financial Closing, Accounts Payable, Petty Cash, Payroll, Journals & Balance Sheet, Bank Recs and Cost Reporting. As well as learning skills such as - setting up a production, getting your team in place, conflict management, taking care of yourself during a production and wrapping the production ready for delivery.  

Contributions from Industry Practitioners and Professionals

Access to the ‘2020 Production Accountants - Inner Circle’ - a closed forum for the group to communicate, share information, ask advice and exclusive to Course Participants.

The course will take place via Zoom for 10 mornings over a two week period, with homework each afternoon. There will be an hour of Q&A each afternoon.

Separate Zoom ‘Saturday Sessions’ will be scheduled on an ad hoc basis to cover such topics such as the New Zealand Screen Production Grant, Co-Productions and Remote & Paperless Working
